(瓜拉登嘉樓21日訊）登嘉樓州務大臣拿督阿末賽益強調，登州政府並未動用石油稅購買新官車。
他指出，州政府是經過深思熟慮，才決定動用在這之前已準備就緒的撥款，購入新官車，以節省常年開銷。
“這並不涉及石油稅，試問石油稅還未到手，我們要如何運用呢？”
他重申，州政府基于原有的國產統領V6 EXECUTIVE，維修費過高、容易損壞及不適合作長途車程使用等原因，才決定購買新官車。
“我們並非說國產車不好，可是事實是使用不到兩年，已出現排檔箱故障等問題。例如州行政議員杜振耀的官車，兩年期間已兩度故障，修維費高達5萬令吉。”
阿末賽益昨日在瓜登瑪芝雅王宮，出席配合登州蘇丹米占殿下46歲華誕舉行的祈禱儀式后，向傳媒這么說。
雖然開始時必須動用大筆款項，不過他說，長遠計州政府可省下大筆維修費。
登州政府宣佈耗資343萬令吉，購入14輛馬賽地E200 KOMPRESSOR官車，取代現有的國產統領V6 EXECUTIVE，作為州行政議員及州政府高級官員官車，引起各造議論紛紛。

安全撙節才換官車
登州行政議員杜振耀指出，州政府是基于安全及撙節理由，購買新官車。
他說，舊的國產統領V6 EXECUTIVE官車，購于2004年，除了沒有安全氣囊，車身也是經過銜接而成，對于乘客安全大打折扣。
他指出，國產官車維修費昂貴，平均每輛每月維修費超過3萬令吉。
“出現故障時必須送修，影響政府高官出席日常活動等問題，帶來許多不便。”
杜振耀說，州政府經連番考慮后，加上其中7輛國產官車，已脫售給多位原任州行政議員，現有官車不足應付需求，才決定購買新官車。
他重申，州政府購買的馬賽地E200 KOMPRESSOR款式官車，只屬基本而非最名貴型號，所以並不屬于浪費，反而能節省無謂的維修費用。詢及他本人的經驗，杜振耀說，他曾在前往吉隆坡途中，發生官車引擎冒煙拋錨問題，以至影響行程。
不過，他現今仍在使用國產官車，目前已有5名州行政議員已開始啟用新官車。
符芝萬：小事不應渲染
鉅款投資才須解釋
登嘉樓中華大會堂會長符芝萬認為，登州政府購買官車屬于芝麻小事，不應被大肆渲染。
他覺得，針對一些涉及天文數字的花費或投資項目，才是州政府應向人民詳加解說的重點。
“這些有形的花費並非大事，州政府認為應買就買，反而是無形且民間不知的大筆款項，才應小心花費。”
“就如購買官車一樣透明化，向人民交代州政府所花費的大筆款項的來龍去脈。”
符芝萬贊成州政府購買新官車決定，因為300多萬令吉對于州政府只屬芝麻小事，加上即使現任官員不在，也會有新的官員接任使用。
