Blogger tips: How to swap your Blog title

From the above picture, do you noticed that my blog title is placed right after my post title?

If you don't understand, go to your blog and click one of your post. You'll noticed your blog title is placed in front of ur post title.

What so important to swap the blog title with post title?

Ok you can go and try searching for something relevant to your posts in Google.

For sure, people will look at the front part of the search result lists. If you had long blog title, they will just ignore the long title and proceed to another results.

So how to do that? 2 steps only.


Step 1:

Go to LAYOUT --> EDIT HTML.



Backup your template with DOWNLOAD FULL TEMPLATE.



If anything goes wrong, you can just click BROWSE and UPLOAD your default template.


Step 2:

Search for this line at the HTML.

After got it, replace the line with the code below:

P/S: You need to type in or copy the text from blogger tricks :) I don't know how to put it in my post.

Blogger tips: How to change a cool template

This week I'm gonna teach u how to change your blog template in a few steps only.

JenJen and Janice had used template from the website i got mine.

Show you some sample of the templates from Blogger Tricks.

Shep? So to install it, follow the 5 steps below.


Step 1:

Choose your Favourite Blogger Template at here.

After choose your template, download it by click the DOWNLOAD link.



Done? 20% completed.


Step 2:

Go to LAYOUT --> EDIT HTML.



Backup your template with DOWNLOAD FULL TEMPLATE.



If anything goes wrong, you can just click BROWSE and UPLOAD your default template.

Done? 40% completed.


Step 3:

Step 3 is to let u backup some of ur Gadget which u installed. Backup all gadget especially HTML/JavaScript to Notepad. You can copy and paste the previous gadget to your new installed template again.



Done? 60% completed.


Step 4:

Extract the zip file that u had download.



Now click BROWSE and find the extracted XML file. Then UPLOAD the XML file to the blog.


Done? 80% completed.


Step 5:

Upload back the gadget u copy just now. Edit ur title or other ocipala etc and YOU'RE DONE! You got a fresh new leng leng template!

P/S: You may have some problem after u installed new template especially in the header part. Try to fix it through trial and error in HTML if you prefer or choose other suitable template.

For the following weeks, I'm gonna share how i play with blogger. For example: template and playing with the HTML stuff.

It's really Fun and Easy if you just follow my spoon-feeding steps.

Today I'm gonna teach u How to change the default "Comments"?

If you feel bored with the comments word and would like to change it to other sentences, just like:


Ops! from JoJo.


Bone Pickers from Bone.

All you need to do is just follow these steps. Can be done in 5 minutes.

Step 1:

Go to LAYOUT --> EDIT HTML.



Backup your template with DOWNLOAD FULL TEMPLATE.



If anything goes wrong, you can just click BROWSE and UPLOAD your default template.

Done? 33% completed.


Step 2:

Tick the EXPAND WIDGET TEMPLATES box.

Then press CTRL+F to search for this code.

< data:top.commentlabelplural >

Done? 66% completed.


Step 3:

Change the < data:top.commentlabelplural > to anything you want!




Save your work and you're done!



100% done!
